Our School

Journey Christian School creates the foundation for success in offering quality TK-7th Grade education coupled with the teachings of the Word of God. Combining these fundamental principles, we raise our students up to be intelligent and productive members of society, capable of expressing the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit in their daily lives.

Are you looking for a school that will not only teach your kids information but also form them into mature and kind humans? Journey Christian School exists to do just that! We are committed to serving East County families and are located right off of the 8 and 125 near Grossmont Center, a stone’s throw from downtown La Mesa. If you want your children to experience an education that includes academic excellence, Christlike development, and strong community, Journey Christian School is the place for them!

Our Mission

Our mission is to partner with parents in order to encourage our students to access the depth of life “with God” through Jesus Christ. Journey Christian School pursues this by training our students to impact the world for Jesus by providing a quality liberal arts education taught from a biblical worldview by gifted Christian educators.
